I am honoured to have been awarded the ANAT Synapse fellowship, marking 20 years of the Synapse art/science residency program.
I will return to CERN, the European Organisation for Nuclear Research, for 2 months of research and project development, with the art@cms and CTF3 programs. I have 3 key provocations / questions I will critically and creatively engage with: what is the long-term nature of experiments at CERN such as the proposed Future Circular Collider; how does one future-proof such experiments, and how do we create art that can anticipate unpredictable futures?
